February & March Events

Multi-Family Rummage Sale February 27 & 28 from 7am to noon
Located at 1302 E. Divot Drive in Tempe, near the corner of Elliot and McClintock
We'll be hosting our annual fundraising event to sell items donated by our membership, their friends, families and neighbors.  Items for sale range from toys to furniture to clothing and just about everything in between!  Funds raised for the event will benefit the East Valley Chapter's activities and operating costs.
 
Dispelling the Myth of the Perfect Mom
Monday, March 2, 7pm at the Arizona Community Church
Amelia Maness-Gilliland, M.Ed., founder of Mom's Daily Retreat, an online resource center for mom, will speak at our March meeting about finding your mothering style.

 Mothers & More in Arizona Minimize
Mothers & More uniquely provides its members with opportunities to:
  • Re-connect with their whole selves and the "more" they are looking for in life,
  • Connect with other mothers in their neighborhoods and across the nation, face-to-face and virtually, to share, learn, grow and have fun.
  • Recognize how their daily lives are affected by, and find ways to handle, society's assumptions about mothers and motherhood.

There are three chapters in Arizona: East Valley, North Scottsdale and McDowell Mountain Ranch.  The East Valley Chapter serves Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Ahwatukee and Mesa.

Mission:
Mothers & More is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the Lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy. We address mothers’ needs as individuals and members of society, and promote the value of all the work mothers do.
